The Fiber Festival in the Valley is back for 2024! This three-day weekend at the
Sautee Nacoochee Center is dedicated celebrating and learning about all things fiber.
The Fiber Festival takes place, Friday, May 10 through Sunday, May 12. Friday, May 10 is
devoted to workshops taught by local fiber artists. Saturday and Sunday are all about fun. With
vendors from near and far, demonstrations of fiber art skills, fiber animals such alpaca and
sheep, along with food vendors and raffles, Fiber Fest is an event for all ages.

and 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday. Over 30 fiber art vendors will be set-up both indoors
and outdoors across the campus. A quilt handmade and donated by Virginia Edwards of
Cleveland will be raffled. Additionally, Focus on Fiber, the Hallway Invitational exhibit in the
Cultural Center features fiber art of all kinds, from crocheted wraps to macrame wall hangings
by local and regional artists.
Friday’s workshops will be announced soon. They will be full day workshops, and most
will be geared to beginners. More information is available online and preregistration is
