New Beginnings in Acrylics - A Two-Day Workshop

These workshops are designed to refresh, inspire and yet, challenge us to paint outside of our comfort zones. Most of us have acquired the basics and now it’s time to experience new and exciting techniques that will spark a desire to paint, and paint often! We’ll discuss various topics and practice freestyle acrylic designs on watercolor paper, painting light to dark; painting with transparent and opaque acrylics; blocking in shapes, recognizing the importance of light and shadows; painting the negative spaces in florals, fruit and landscapes.

Artist level materials are provided, excluding canvases. Student should plan to bring at least two small ( 5×7) gallery wrapped canvases and one medium size gallery wrapped canvases, (9×12 0r 11×14).

Bring lunch as we will take a 30 min lunch break.

This is a consecutive, two-day workshop, offered on the third Thursday & Friday.
