Event Details

In this hands-on class, you will use provided tools and a comprehensive kit including a wooden frame, wire canvas, and beads to design and assemble a glittering, custom suncatcher that captures the light to display in your home.

You will make the beaded suncatcher using wire & beads to capture not only the sun but your imagination each day! Your suncatcher will come to life, glittering in the sun and swaying in the breeze.

You will be shown how to choose or make a frame for your suncatcher, how to attach the “wire canvas”, how to create bead supports, choose beads, assembly, and suggestions for displaying your masterpiece when you get home. The supply fee includes everything needed: a wooden frame (you may choose from a variety of different sizes and shapes), wire supported canvas, a beautiful assortment of approximately 300 beads with support pins and attachment rings and 2 eye rings to hang the finished artpiece. The instructor will have an assortment of tools needed that students can borrow during class.
