Join Smithgall’s Naturalist on a guided hike to our Wetland Loop Trail. This guided hike will NOT be taking the van, and instead will start at the visitor’s center, making this a moderate, 2.7 mi hike in total. Learn about various parts of the park, our history, and the numerous different ecosystems at work within the park.
Remember to wear appropriate clothes and shoes, and to bring water. This hike is dog friendly as long as dogs remain on a 6’ leash and under the owner’s control. This hike is by reservation only, please call the visitor’s center at 706-878-3087 to make a reservation
