Halloween Hike

Join Smithgall Woods for some fall fun!
Enjoy a Hayride up to Martins Mine Trail, and set off on a hike with our Naturalist to learn all about the haunted history and legends of the park and the Southern Blueridge region.
During the .9 mile, moderate hike, our Naturalist will walk you through the history of the land, including the gold rush that began right in the park, as well as all the cryptids and crawlers said to call the Appalachians their home.
Please remember to bring water, and wear shoes meant for walking. This hayride/hike is planned to start at 5:10PM, and should end by 7:00PM.
There is a 20-person limit for the hayride. Reservations are required. If you do not make a reservation, you are welcome to call or show up early, and If any reservations have not arrived by 4:50PM, their spot will be given away.
