Event Details

Are you interested in foraging, herbalism, and wild plant medicine? In this class you will learn the beginning basics of foraging, the ethics behind it, and good beginner-friendly wild edible plants. Some of the science behind herbal and medicinal plants, and how to used them will also be covered in this introductory class. After an hour indoors, we will go out on a short hike to find some of the plants spoken about during class, as well as to
see what else we can find! This class is geared for an older audience, as scientific terminology, and study referencing is included. Reservations are needed for there class, and space is limited. Please call the visitor's center at 706-878-3087 to make your reservation. This class is $5 per person, plus $5 parking.
