Escape to Georgia Wine Country:
Yonah Mountain Vineyards’ Crush Fest Returns August 29
One of the largest wine festivals in the region, this exciting annual festival returns on Saturday, August 29, 2026, giving guests Napa vibes in North Georgia with classic grape stomping, live music, an artisan market, tasty bites, and award-winning wine!
This summer, some of the most sought-after wine-country experiences are happening in Atlanta’s backyard. Trade airport lines, rental cars, and cross-country airfare for rolling vineyard views, award-winning wines, and harvest-season festivities, all just 90 minutes north of Atlanta. Yonah
Mountain Vineyards invites guests to experience Crush Fest 2026, happening on Saturday, August 29, 2026.
As part of one of the largest wine harvest festivals in the region, attendees can visit Yonah’s two-hundred acre family winery from noon to 6 p.m. to explore the property, enjoy a broad variety of wines, stock up personal wine cellars with excellent discounts, and participate in the centuries-old tradition of barefoot grape stomping, accompanied by live accordion and guitar music from the winery’s owners, Bob and Jane Miller.
Beyond the vino, Crush Fest offers something for every type of guest, including a curated market featuring handcrafted goods, artwork, and one-of-a-kind finds. Food lovers can indulge in an array of food and dessert trucks serving everything from savory bites to sweet treats. Featuring three stages, guests can also look forward to live music throughout the event, including the popular Tropical Breeze Steel Band, returning again this year after much anticipation! From covers to Caribbean vibes, the tone is set for a great afternoon.
Eric Miller, General Manager and Co-Owner of Yonah, said, “Crush Fest has become a beloved tradition for our team and for wine lovers across the state. It’s a chance to experience the harvest season in an authentic way, stomping grapes, enjoying great music, discovering local artists, and savoring award-winning wines in the beautiful North Georgia mountains. Every year we’re reminded just how special this event is, and we’re excited to make 2026 our best celebration yet.”; Of course, the star of the show is the wine. Guests aged 21 and older can enjoy Yonah Mountain Vineyards’; award-winning wines by the glass or bottle, while the beer garden offers a selection of craft brews.
