Event Details

Gerald Hodge of Appalachia Georgia Friends of the Bears has dedicated his life to defending black bears in the southeast. While these creatures are apex predators, we pose a threat to them as well. Attendees will learn how you can protect themselves from a bear, bear-proof their house or campsite, and be a friend to our North Georgia black bears.
