Gerald Hodge of Appalachia Georgia Friends of the Bears has dedicated his life to
defending black bears in the southeast. While these creatures are apex predators, we
pose a threat to them as well. Meet Gerald at Brasstown Bald to learn how you can
protect yourself from a bear, bear-proof your house or campsite, and be a friend to our
North Georgia black bears.
