Imagine a place where you can explore, learn, shop, ponder, perform, take classes,
listen, create, dance, sing, cook, eat, play, walk and enjoy. The Sautee Nacoochee
Center is that place.
The Sautee Nacoochee Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to nurturing
creativity and committed to preserving and protecting the natural and historical
resources of the Sautee and Nacoochee Valleys and the surrounding area. It is home to
the Folk Pottery Museum of Northeast Georgia, an African American Heritage Site, and
the Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center.
The Cultural Center houses two gallery shops, the Center Theatre, a local history
museum, and an art studio.
A playground, walking trail and the Native Peace Garden are also located on the 8.5
acre campus. The Center offers event and meeting facilities.

The Sautee Nacoochee Center welcomes all and is open year-round, Monday through
Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
