Junior Ranger Day

Have your kids join Smithgall Woods’ Naturalist for a day of Ranger fun! Kids will learn about hiking safety, how to start and build a fire, shelter building and more.
This program is taking place in the winter cold. Please ensure children have appropriate jackets and shoes. Snacks are provided, but children are expected to bring their own lunch.
This Junior Ranger Day camp is geared towards children 8-12 years of age. When signing your child up, please notify us of any allergies or medical conditions we should be aware of.
Cost is $20/child and is due the day of, or can be prepaid over the phone or at the visitor’s center. Payment is final. For more details, or to register your child, please call the visitor’s center at 706-878-3087
