Keep a Bowl, Give a Bowl

Create two handmade bowls in this fun, beginner-friendly pottery class. Keep one beautiful bowl for yourself and donate one to help fight hunger through the Empty Bowls Charity Event!

Join local artist Terry Buffington for a fun, beginner-friendly pottery experience where you’ll handcraft two unique soup bowls—no experience needed. Terry will guide you step-by-step through the entire process, from shaping your bowls to choosing your favorite glaze colors.

Once your bowls are fired by your teacher, you’ll keep one beautiful handmade bowl for yourself and donate the other to support the Empty Bowls Charity Event. If you want the bowl you are keeping shipped to you, there is a per-piece additional shipping of $30 for packing and postage (teacher is not responsible for breakage during shipping). It is highly recommended that you make arrangements to pick up your bowl.

Instructor bio: Terry Buffington has over 30 years of experience successfully creating and selling art in many forms. She brings her experience as a potter, painter, photographer and graphic designer to this fun and educational class.

The $10 supply fee covers the cost of materials. The supply fee must be paid directly to the instructor on the day of the class. Cash or check only.
